*Notes: Peter Macfarlane writes, “Although in 6/8, the phrasing in the ‘A’ part seems to wander a bit. It’s easiest to maintain a 3-count (these being 1/8 notes). This becomes really important in the harmony, which also wanders, but not in the same way. My recommendation is to listen, listen, and listen some more, until you can hum the tune. Then the reading will be of less importance.
