Notes: Site visitor Ken Mattsson writes, “This tune comes from Carl Michael Bellman’s “ Så lunka vi så småningom” written in the 1790’s on Sweden. It’s originally a March. The A part is the verse melody and the B-art is the chorus melody. This is one of the best known songs in Swedish
traditional music.” He also refers us to this very detailed Wikipedia article about the tune’s origin.
