The composer, Tania Elizabeth, says she wrote it in A major and the YouTube above is her band playing it in A, but I see references to it being played in C and G (the sheet music above), Bb and F, take your pick. As to the title, Tania wrote, “The dregs of birch refers to a time when all the Duhks (her band. See the VouTube above) got in a sauna with a promoter friend of ours and we used the last drops of birch essential oil to mix with the water. It smelled amazing.”
