According to the YouTube video above, “”Flygarpolskan”, or “The flying polska”, is named by Kjell-Erik Eriksson because he heard a story about when Per Karlsson Viksten (1846-1919) once built some type of wings, He then climbed up on a barn to fly, unfortunetly he was a better fiddler than a builder and he fell down and crashed. But the tune prevailed!”
The traditional title would be “Polska efter Per Karlsson Viksten”
