Notes: A comment on TheSession.org by Paul Fackler says: “This tune has been attributed to Rossie Mann, a fiddler on CKNX Barn Dance out of Wingham, Ontario, Canada. The tune is said to be named after his favorite whiskey. Apparently there is some debate about this however. The tune was popularized by well known Canadian fiddler Don Messer, whose recording can be heard here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwgmbCP9oPo . It was also recorded by Andy Dejarlis and Graham Townsend.”
