Peter MacFarlane, who taught this tune to the Vermont Fiddle Orchestra in 2024, wrote. “[This] is potentially a challenging tune, not least because of the syncopation – several notes anticipate the beat by one 1/8 note. Furthermore, for those who like to count in 8 bar phrases, there’s an extra bar in the ‘A’ part.”
