Region: France
Notes: Susan Reid writes, “This mysterious little tune by Jane Rouger of the Poitou region of France was written in the mid 1970s It is basically in D minor. There is a lot of repetition to listen for which hopefully will make the tune relatively easy to learn even though it is unusual.”
*There seems little agreement about this tune’s key. The ABC and sheet music above, from the Folk Tune Finder website, has it in D major while the YouTube seems to be in E minor.
